The CENTURY 21 system was founded in 1971 in Southern California. The founding principle was simple: to enable small independent brokers to operate under a common identity, sharing in the resources of collective advertising, training and marketing. This concept enabled brokers to remain responsive to the needs of their local marketplace while favorably positioning themselves against the competition. And it worked!
The CENTURY 21 network grew rapidly in the 70’s and 80’s, quickly becoming the largest real estate sales organization in the world. Sales topped the $70 billion mark. Independent polls now show the CENTURY 21 name to be the best recognized name in real estate.
Yet, we’re not content to rest on these laurels. We recognize the need for change to lead the industry in the decades ahead. The CENTURY 21 system of the 21st century is committed to providing exemplary customer service.

My husband and I have bought and sold homes many times. Marnie far exceeded any expectations I had. In addition to her knowledge of the market and valuations, she really listened and knew what was important to us. As we toured available properties, she could highlight things that were positive and negatives. When we went to see the house we finally bought, she said she was sure we would love the setting and she was very right!
We entered into the contract for the house just as we were leaving the country for 3 weeks. Marnie and her team worked diligently to communicate with us while we were in a different time zone and not always accessible by email. In addition, Marnie did a very detailed walk-thru inspection of the house and followed up on all requests that were made of the Seller.
Marnie is very professional and a pleasure to work with. Her team, Terri and Tiffani, are excellent. Buying and selling homes is never easy, but they sure made it seem that way - Sandy Sidorsky April 2016
Dave made a stressful experience much easier. He was available whenever we had a question. He explained everything thoroughly. He was in constant contact with our lender and knew what was going on every minute. He provided excellent personal service. We wouldn't use anyone else for our future real estate needs. - Nanette Harris, Windsor April 2016
Kimberly and James were helpful, understanding, enthusiastic, encouraging and honest, knowing just what to be when.
Selling the house I grew up in was bitter sweet.
Kimberly understood how difficult this was for myself and my brother.
I liked that Kimberly and James appreciated the suggestions we made and the work I did to prepare the house for going on the market. - Althea Espenshade, Vacav April 2016
Thank you once more for the professional, courteous and outstanding service! - Pbg, Santa Rosa, Ca April 2016
Debbie was my advocate and my partner while also navigating all the business aspects and anticipating issues while brain storming solutions simultaneously.
She is very capable, assessable, experienced, efficient, and constructive. And, in the middle of many stressful choices, processes, and the like - she made the process enjoyable. She is an impressive Real Estate talent. - Lisa Johnson April 2016
Sold in 5 days at full asking price!! i.e. $579,000. The previous relator was planning to just sell "as is", for $530,000 range. By going with Brian, and putting in just a couple thousand for painting, yardwork, cleaning, etc., as he had suggested, we received almost $50.000 more. What a difference a relator can make !!!
Brian has been a remarkable Real Estate Agent. He went above and beyond in every situation. He is a "net working guru", and always knew exactly who to call for every job. When I found I was not able to qualify for as much of a loan as I needed, Brian once again, came through with a recommendation. Otto was able to get the job done, and I was able to purchase the new home I desired. I don't know that we ever could have completed this process, if we did not have Brian as our relator.
This was an extremely difficult situation that Brian was getting in on. It is not easy dealing with an active alcoholic/addict and all the different personalities/behaviors that go along with it. Nor is it easy dealing with a co-dependent who is a complete basket case from having been around it for 9 years. Brian took everything in stride, and handled every situation with grace. He kept us both moving toward the goal. I thing it can now be said that Brian is the, "Go To Relator", when it comes to dealing with dysfunctional owners. - Patricia B. rohnert Par March 2016
Quality, experienced broker. Managed professionally through some hiccups. Even temper, total pro.
Pro. Great overall experience - Rick S Santa Rosa March 2016
We had to do a short sale on our property which was devastating to us but Martin Levy was understanding and compassionate through this ordeal. - Tammie Hartley, Thousand March 2016
This is the 4th time that Michael O Callaghan has represented us in the buying or selling of homes. He has always been very helpful and kept us informed of all details.
Would we recommend him to anyone buying or selling a property? Absolutely! - Larry Perkins March 2016
We were referred to Emily when a business associate (Maria D'Argenzio) was unable to represent us due to family obligations. We met with Emily. She was extremely personable and clearly knowledgeable about the areas we were interested in. We were doing a 1031 exchange and were on a strict time deadline, so competence, experience and commitment were extremely very important. She seemed to have those qualities at our initial meeting and we liked her right away. We were right and she was an excellent choice to represent us.
My financial "guy" Wade Smith, who I have known for 11 years and helped me finance 3 houses in the past, said she was really good. They worked closely together behind the scenes and made my life easy. He highly recommended her (reaffirmed our opinion).
I have never given a review like this! I recently sold a house in the East Bay with another broker, who I thought was great and I got well over asking price with little complications. I lived over an hour away from the property, so he handled a lot of extra requirements; such as needed repairs, clean up and maintenance. He recommended exceptional people to re-do the floors, paint and some handywork - all was done at a fair, even discounted price. I was asked to give a review, several in fact, which I was happy to do. I thought he was great. Emily was just as great, if not better (two different sides of a sale).
I am going to sell a house next year. I hope to hire Emily again. - Regina Silvers, Santa Ro March 2016
We were extremely satisfied with Audrey's ability to understand and provide us with what we needed to make the process quick and painless. On time and easy to contact we always felt she was on the ball.
Audrey is very down to earth, she genuinely respected all of our needs and expectations. She found exactly what we needed so fast and made the extra effort to positively influence sellers expertly about our needs and wants. - James Bulgerin santa Ro March 2016
Marel was attentive to our needs, readily available and promptly responded to our queries. She deftly smoothed out the few inevitable bumps. Her expert ability to balance professionalism with a sense of humor helped make the whole process enjoyable. Marel was great! - Dave Sherman And Linda S March 2016
Ross truly understands the local real estate market. He priced my house after careful analysis of comparable houses. His network of contacts in the real estate world was invaluable in making the sale. - Kris Abrahamson, Santa R February 2016
Teri (and Marnie's) communication was excellent. Whenever I had a question or concern she was right on top of it. Very easy to work with! - John Codding, Santa Rosa February 2016
Dee Dee is the complete package. She looked our for our best interests. She was crucial to the purchase, offered advice that we never considered. Dee's no nonsense and professional service was quite refreshing. Dee Dee went to bat for us under difficult circumstances, worked hard for us and delivered. On top of all of the positives, as a long time local, Dee Dee has an intimate knowledge of the area. We will recommend Dee Dee to anyone looking to purchase or sell property in Sonoma County. Dee Dee will deliver! - Ed & Sunny Ryan - San Fr January 2016
Arlee sold my parents their first house in Santa Rosa in the late 1970s. She helped my mother sell that house and buy 135 Alice a number of years later. Our family has always kept in touch with her and I wanted to work with her on this last sale. This personal relationship is very important, particularly since I live on the East Coast.
I can't really comment on some of these since I was not on site. But she got the job done and made it very easy to manage all the financial details long distance. She was also really helpful with the last push in getting the property prepared for the sale. - Catherine Gamon, Cambrid January 2016
Mark was exceptional at throughout the process of locating and purchasing. We highly recommend him (and already have) to others considering a real estate agent. - Rich Cundall, Sebastopol January 2016
The mission, sell our home and buy a new home, closing escrow on the same day for both. Not until the buyers of our home removed all contingencies could we make a solid offer on a new home.
David Chung, a friend and our purchasing realtor immediately realized the problem of coordinating the transactions and brought in a fellow realtor Arlee Geary. Arlee and David listened to our needs and found the vacant homes to view. They worked energetically showing us homes that met our desires, which made the process even more difficult as Lisa, and my requirements were not the same. Offers and cancellations were made for one reason or another.
David and Arlee helped us all the way and successfully closed escrow on our purchase the same day the sale of our home close. Even after the close both David and Arlee have been extremely helpful in dealing with issues, big and little. - Jim santa Rosa Ca January 2016
We had dealt with Chris previously when purchasing the same house. Her service and knowledge were excellent then, and we were sure it still would be. Chris has stayed in touch with us over time and we felt comfortable having her handle this home sale.
Chris went way above and beyond the call of duty. We were in another part of the state and there had been damage done by renters as well as time deterioration. Chris acted as coordinator and researcher for us and there was a lot of work to be done.
In the end there was quite a bit of interest in the home and Chris Johnson did a great job of evaluating offers and we think, helping pick the right one.
All's well that ends well and Chris Johnson did a terrific job. I would recommend Chris to anyone seeking to purchase or sell in the Sonoma County area. - James Finley, Santa Rosa December 2015
